REFINISHING
Refinishing your floors can make a world of difference! Dull, dingy and worn floors can look brand new - no matter what the age of the wood. Once your floors are sanded down you now have many options to further improve the look of the room - such as change the color, add a border, or a decorative medallion.
We've got several plans for refinishing your floors. From our value-priced refinishing system, where caution is taken to minimize dust in areas of the home outside the work area, to our dust control system - you'll find something that fits your budget.
Oil-based polyurethane generally takes 8 to 12 hours to dry, which means that with 3 coats you may not be able to walk on the work area for at least 3 days. There are other options that can reduce the amount of time until you are able to walk on your floors again. Streetshoe is made by Basic Coatings and is a long-lasting finish that reduces drying time, is extremely durable, is used in many commercial applications and has very little odor.
